Since 2004, we have been welcoming elderly residents to our home in Leova, where we currently provide shelter and care to 35 elderly individuals and people with disabilities. Our center accepts elderly and disabled individuals regardless of culture, race, or religion, strictly following legal regulations and giving equal attention to those who are marginalized, abandoned, or in need. The most vulnerable among them are those living alone, especially when loneliness is compounded by a lack of resources and dependency. Our mission is to make them feel at home and loved like family, caring not only for their physical and health needs but also honoring who they are as individuals. This is the heart of our charitable work.
Some of our residents came to us directly from the streets, others from families facing severe hardship or conflict, and some from simple, modest backgrounds. While a few remain independent, most rely on daily assistance, and many are wheelchair-bound.
With so many elderly in need, we ask for your support in transforming the conditions at our center to provide a dignified life. Your help with food and hygiene supplies would mean so much.
With gratitude and respect,
Administration of the Seniors Center
