Dear friends, the other day we visited a seniors center in the village of Sarata-Galbena, in Hincesti district. This visit was full of emotions, on one hand it was sad, but on the other hand we were glad to see that some of the homeless and lonely elderly people found shelter and comfort in this center. We saw how professional and caring the employees of this center are. Unfortunately, the most acute problem the center is facing is the living conditions in the rooms where these seniors live. Cracks in the walls, old windows, cold floor - all these problems emerge especially during the cold season, when, due to these conditions, the temperature in the premises is rather low. We ask all people of goodwill to help them and provide these seniors with normal living conditions. Some of them have no relatives and they found their home here, in this shelter. We sincerely hope that this year the winter holidays will look different to them, the tears of loneliness will turn to tears of joy because it is very important for them to know that they are not forgotten. We sincerely ask you to support the seniors of this center.
