A message from his mother:
My name is Olga Mitchevici, I am Misha's mother. My son is 11 years old, and almost all this time our family has been in a continuous struggle for his right to a happy and healthy life. My son knows what the struggle for life is. Mishka underwent 20 surgeries (the first one was on the liver, when he was 10 months old), he was diagnosed with Chronic Wegener's Granulomatosis - an autoimmune disease, which has no treatment and the only solution is a BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT. Most of my life, my son spent in hospitals. To be honest, I don't even remember my life before him.
I have learned and used to live in this way: in constant stress, anxiety, in awareness of the terrible situation that we are facing.
It is hard for me to communicate with the people around me, I moved away, separated and now I live in my little world, full of fear and anxiety.
I don’t want to shift my pain to those who are close to me, so I always try to keep a straight face and answer “that everything will be fine.” Sometimes the belief that everything will be ok grows stronger, sometimes it weakens completely.
In moments of despair and sadness, I look at him, he is the meaning of my life, the source of my incredible love and strength, and I move on with a sole goal - to save my son. At this moment, I beg you to show your support for me and Misha! For us it is very important!!!
