On the morning of February 20th, at 11:40 AM, on the island of Bali, our friend Marseli Mizerniuc was involved in a severe traffic accident. Following the collision, he was diagnosed with a fractured left femur and pulmonary hemorrhages, from which 1,350 ml of blood were extracted. Unfortunately, due to medical errors, the necessary investigations to identify the main cause of his health deterioration were not performed in time. After five days of inadequate treatment, Marseli's condition worsened, revealing an ascending aortic dissection, an extremely serious medical condition that affects blood flow to the brain. Currently, he is also suffering from infections, pulmonary hemorrhages, bilateral pneumonia, and the previously mentioned fracture.
We have been informed that Marseli requires two complex heart surgeries, on the ascending aorta and then on the descending aorta. The fact that Marseli is still alive is a true miracle and proof that he is fighting with all his might for his life, but he urgently needs our help.
So far, family and friends have managed to cover all expenses, but we are faced with the urgent need to cover the costs of the heart surgeries, which will exceed €200,000. This is an enormous sum for us because the surgery is scheduled for tomorrow, and we don’t have time to prepare.
We call on everyone who can contribute, whether it be a small donation or help in sharing this message. Every gesture counts immensely for Marseli and his family in these critical moments. We sincerely thank you for any support you can provide.
