Maria Virgilia Madan from Durlesti is in a difficult battle with leukemia. While other children of her age have played and enjoyed their childhood, Virginia has learned to be a real warrior, fighting a terrible disease, which is a difficult obstacle even for adults - leukemia.
Being kind and strong, she managed to go through the misfortune that obscured her childhood - a victory that prompted her to share her warm and bright personality, becoming as a teenager, a volunteer of the Little People România şi Moldova association. Therefore, our heroine returned to oncology hospital to assist the little patients, offering them support and friendship, inspiring them with courage, hope and optimism according to her own example. She taught many to say: "I'm not afraid!" in the face of illness.
Virgilia is an artistic and energetic person and, apart from her studies and her volunteer activities, she goes to drama lessons at the independent theater and film company Create.Act.Enjoy from Cluj. She also takes part in masterclasses in painting, plays guitar, attends a dance school and many other activities.
All she wants is to continue to fulfill her dreams, continue to make acts of kindness and help as many people as possible. But at the moment Virgilia should take a short break because she is again in the oncology unit as a patient with a new diagnosis of leukemia ... She will certainly win this time as well, nothing can stand in the way of a strong, determined and optimistic person, like her. However, she needs a little help to buy medicines, which, unfortunately, are quite expensive, and if there is a need for a transplant, the amount may reach 50,000 euros - this is a huge amount for Virgilia’s family.
If you want to help her recover and bring more joy to people, contribute and make a donation for the treatment of Virgilia.
