A message from Maria: 

I appeal to all people of good will who read this message. I am going through a very difficult period both mentally and physically. I was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. This news turned my whole world and the world of my family upside down. I need your support to defeat this illness. Unfortunately, I can not cope on my own, but I am sure that with your help I will succeed. If you asked me: "Why do I want to live?" I would firmly answer that I want, first of all, to be close to my children, help them when they have problems, rejoice at their successes and see their families happy. Thanks to them, my struggle for life becomes stronger and I know that in such moments we begin to appreciate life more! 

Please help me get rid of this terrible illness.
