Today, I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart but filled with hope. Irina Guțu, a passionate English teacher from the city of Ștefan Vodă, who teaches with dedication at the Gr. Vieru Primary School. Now she is facing an incredibly difficult challenge.
On September 16, 2024, Irina was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. So far, she has bravely undergone two sessions of chemotherapy at the oncology hospital. However, to have a real chance at life, she needs a definitive treatment, which involves a bone marrow transplant in Turkey.
The cost of this treatment is €90,000—a massive sum that her family and loved ones cannot collect on their own. This is why we are reaching out to the community, to your kindness and solidarity.
