My name is Todica Ana, I’m from the village of Gura Bicului, Anenii Noi. My child, at the age of one month, was diagnosed with a heart disease and after consulting with several doctors, we were told that a surgery is required. We began to look for solutions to make it better and safer. Finally, the cardiologist told us that the surgery should be carried out abroad. When he found out about it, the father drove us out of the common house. I realized I was alone, with a sick, two-month-old child. The boy was feeling really ill, he was having cramps, he was crying for half an hour without stopping and started to bruise. Now his condition has improved, but we do not know for how long. After reserches and consultations, we eventually decided to make the surgery in Romania, in the city of Sibiu, at Polisano clinic. The surgery costs 6000 euros, an mount, which in such a short period of time we can not collect. It is scheduled for the period from 10 to 17 June. When we did the USG, we found two DSV and DSA defects, 6 and 2 mm in size, respectively. The child requires this surgey to live a normal life and not depend on medications.

This week the boy will also be operated on the leg, since he was born with a clubfoot and even if from the age of 2 weeks to 6 months his leg was in plaster, the situation did not improve.
