Ana Negrei recently turned 18 years old, and 13 years ago her life took a radical turn when she was caught in a fire and was saved by her neighbors. She survived, but the left side of her body was damaged and the girl was left without an arm and leg. In this fire, she lost her little sister, who was only a year old. Her story is different from the story of many other young people. Since 2009, Ana was in various accommodation centers, as her mother was deprived of parental rights to her and her other brothers and sisters. All 4 brothers were separated and lived in different environments, one brother with his aunt, two sisters in another placement center. Throughout her life, Ana received various injuries that deeply affected her. She lived without a family, but she always sought to establish good relations with colleagues and people around her. She is a sociable and ambitious girl with big plans for the future. Her dream is to become an athlete, because even on one leg she can run and practice more complex movements. In 2018, she managed to enter the College of Ecology and mastered the profession of meteorologist. She managed to find new colleagues who support and help her. Student life is beautiful, but it is very difficult for her to cope with all the difficulties. For 8 years, thanks to the support of trusted people, Ana was visiting Italy for prosthetics, where in a special center she had prostheses for free. Now she is scheduled to visit this prosthetics center on December 3, 2019, for 10 days. Due to disability, Ana will have to be accompanied.
The center pays only for prostheses, while other expenses reach 2000 euros (transportation, accommodation, telecommunications, other living expenses) and she doesn’t have the possibility to collect this amount. The financial support of each of us can help cover all the costs necessary for this process.
