A message from the family:

Hello!
My name is Lilia Marian, I am from the village of Păulești, Călărași district. I have been a widow for eight years and have an 8-year-old child.
I am deeply troubled and wish to appeal to people of goodwill who are compassionate towards the misfortune of others. On March 5th of this year, I was in my house with my daughter. It was night, and we were both sleeping in one bed when I woke up with a severe burning sensation in my throat. This is where the ordeal began, as I realized our house was on fire. We barely managed to save ourselves from the house engulfed in devastating flames. The fire destroyed everything; all my life's work was wiped out in a few hours. We were poor but lacked nothing. I had refused to go abroad, driven by a strong desire to be with my daughter, who had just started school. We were left barefoot and without clothes, and since that moment, I have not been able to find peace. I am alone and fighting with despair. I understand that only God can do miracles, through people who understand what it means to have everything and overnight lose it all.
I beg you with tears in my eyes to help me rebuild my house. I have health problems, and I feel that it will be very difficult for me to build a house alone once again. I beg you from the bottom of my heart, help me in this time of great trouble for me and my child. God is in each of us; He works His miracles through people with faith, with hope, with love for their fellow men. I will be very grateful for any help.
