A tragedy happened in the family of legendary Moldovan rock musician, famous artist Serghei Bucur and Ela Iavorscaia, their only son, Igor, became seriously ill.

The initial diagnosis made in Kiev was acute leukemia. Igor was brought to Israel for treatment in the Assuta Ramat Hayal hospital, where he was diagnosed with acute bifenotypic leukemia.

This is an extremely rare form of leukemia, difficult to diagnose and to choose the treatment, because this form combines both lymphoblastic and myeloblastic leukemias. The treatment protocol is chosen, the treatment will last at least 1.5 years. It is very difficult, but it is NOT a sentence.

The situation is complicated by the fact that this protocol is rarely used and by the fact that the final amount will exceed the originally announced 100,000 USD. No one is going to give up, although everyone is soberly aware of the real expenses. Alternative offers from other clinics are currently being studied. Igor's parents urgently sell all the property and an apartment in Kiev, but these funds will be enough to pay for half of the treatment.
