Dear friends, during my visit to the "Coroana Universului" association for the visually impaired in Moldova, I had the pleasure of meeting incredible people who, despite their challenges, are working with great enthusiasm. They produce canning lids, paper kitchen towels, and toilet paper. This small business employs 20 people, 17 of whom are visually impaired. These individuals want and deserve to be part of the workforce and society. Their work here not only helps them maintain a decent standard of living, but also supports their families.

Unfortunately, due to the limited productivity of people with disabilities and the high costs of raw materials and energy, their products struggle to compete on the market, making it hard to sell. This puts them in a difficult financial situation. We encourage everyone who can to support these amazing individuals by purchasing their products (Chișinău, Pietrarilor Street 2).

We hope to improve their working conditions. By implementing this project, we aim to significantly reduce energy costs and, consequently, lower production expenses, making their products more competitive on the market. The savings from reduced energy consumption, thanks to the installation of solar panels, will allow us to invest in further development and create better working conditions for these people who are eager to work.
