Misfortunes never come alone. This is the destiny of Pasa family from Bursuceni village, in Sangerei district. After losing his mother to a rare blood disease, DinuPasa was diagnosed with the same illness that requires expensive treatment abroad.
DinuPasa is 34 and he dreams of combating his disease, especially for the sake of his son, who is only 10 months old. At the end of 2015, the man was diagnosed with aplastic anemia, and in order to cure this disease, he needs treatment in Germany. Four years ago, Dinu lost his mother, who suffered from the same illness. According to Jurnal TV, Dinu found out about his conditions in the period whenhis son, Gheorghita was born, but didn’t wanted to upset people that are close to him, and kept his illness a secret. "My husband came to visit me in the hospital during pregnancy and I did not understand why his face turned yellow. He told he’s not feeling too well, but everything will be ok. He did not want to tell me about his serious illness," said Dinu’s wife.
In order to recover, DinuPasa needs a bone marrow transplant, which costs about 60 thousand euro. There are some risks, but Dinu has good chances for recovery. Until then, he is forced to buy an expensive drug, which is unavailable in our country. He orders it From Iasi, with the help of a relative who brings it to him. A box of these drugs costs about 1,000 lei.
"Without a bone marrow transplant, I can not get out of this crisis. When my mother was sick, I borrowed money and left as guarantee my parents’ house. A part of the sum I managed to return, but more than half I still have to pay back. We have huge debts to various banks. I ask all the people with big hearts and with faith in God, to make donations, so I could return healthy to my family, so I could work again, so I could have chance to spend my life with my wife and my child, so I could be able to offer my son a future." - says Dinu.
